Korker Ribbons & WOYWW 196

Happy Wednesday everyone. Time to snoop at desks all over the world again. If you want to join in on the fun, head on over to Julia's blog to know more about it.

So what does my desk look like this week? Ok, here's the real deal...

I'm in the middle of rearranging my bedroom. And since my craft space is a portion of my bedroom,  this is what my bed looks like right now...

Seeing this state that my bedroom is in, I am currently camping in my brother's bedroom. I do intend to finish cleaning tonight, but I just had to insert this... I made korker ribbons, but since there are no wooden dowels here, I used pencils... they turn out just the same as the ones where wooden dowels are used...

Well, except for the white ribbon, the "paint" on the pencil kinda adhered to it but still cute...

Happy Crafting...

WOYWW 195

It's Wednesday once again, time to bloghop allover cyberspace to snoop around crafters desks. Head on over to Julia's blog see how to go about it.

So, what's on my desk today?

Seems like nothing's going on much right? Well everything's on the floor. :)

I've been on a card mode since last week (see my previous post). Just a few minutes ago as I was writing this post, I had a "eureka" moment. Will tell you all about it in the succeeding post.

For now hurry on and join the "WOYWW" craze...

Card making mode

I'm on a card making mode this week, I don't know why but I love making cards.  I also started coloring digi stamps. There was this Facebook page that I found where the artists sells her drawings but she also gives freebies. I went crazy downloading her freebies (I know I'm such a cheapskate) only to find out that the artist passed away just this January. It's such a loss of talent.

Anyway onto my cards...
The first digi I colored.

I think this is the prettiest I did so far...
I think I made a boo boo with the sentiment...

I have a new use for cupcake wrappers...
I also made some note cards...

Black/Grey
Blue /Green

Hope I get to add more cards within the week...

So onto my desk...

I've been to engrossed with making templates for gift boxes that I almost forgot it's my goddaughter's birthday on Friday and I'm supposed to make a sort of guest book for her party, not to mention I'm making her cake pops... well I guess there'll be less sleep for me .

Head on to Julia's Blog for more wonderful desks.

Gift bags

I'm really trying to update this blog as often as I can. Not being able to update does not mean I haven't been doing anything crafty.

I started doing gift boxes. I unfortunately do not own any die cutting machine, oh wait I do have a Cuttlebug but I don't own any dies just embossing folders. So each of these boxes were done manually.

The only template I got from the web is the Owl one (sorry I forgot where I got it, I was on Pinterest I guess when I found it). The rest of the boxes, I made the template myself.

These are supposed to be sets, like a gift bag and invitation set, nut I on;y got to finish the Owl invitation. Will try to work on the other designs.

Here are some pictures.

There you have it... I hope I can make a tutorial for the kokeshi doll... Will really try to do one.
